T2F Winter Baseball Academy 2025

OUR PURPOSE:

T2F Winter Baseball Academy is designed to offer players who have a passion for baseball, a solid foundation of talent and comprehension, and whose goal is to continue to advance to the next level of competition.  The target players are those unable to commit to a travel club but still want the opportunity to train, grow and develop as baseball players during the off-season – plus at a fraction of the cost.  We teach elements of the game that are unfortunately often overlooked by travel teams or clubs as our focus is heavy on proper fundamental skills and knowledge of the game.

PLAYERS:

Players should have a minimum of 2 years’ player-pitch experience, grade levels 5-8 preferably, and must have a desire to learn, work hard, remain focused, and be a good teammate and leader.  Coaching the game of baseball is a great opportunity to teach important life skills that are carried over beyond the field of play.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Skill development with emphasis on throwing, hitting and fielding
  • Create a supportive, enjoyable, and structured learning environment for growth and development with a team-like feel and an academy training style meaning we all work together to grow and make gains
  • Improve both upper and lower body movement mechanics
  • Involve strength, mobility, stability and other aspects of training to maximize power and avoid injury
  • Get players ready to play and compete when Spring hits and the season starts up

COACHES:

Dr. Jon Deming – former collegiate pitcher and first baseman, podiatric sports medicine physician, certified sport scientist and injury prevention specialist

Bill Deming – former collegiate pitcher, youth, high school and college coaching experience

Connor Kaden (special guest assistant) – former professional pitcher (San Francisco Giants), professional trainer and pitching coach
